HBO broadcasting of our doc on migration ‘It will be chaos’

It has been finally premiered, after 5 years of intense work, the feature lenght documentary It Will Be Chaos by Lorena Luciano and Filippo Piscopo, to which I’ve contributed as filmmaker in Europe, Asia and Africa.

Part road-movie and part intimate portrait of lives in transit, It Will Be Chaos unfolds between Italy and the Balkan corridor, intercutting two unforgettable refugees stories of human strength and resilience.

An epic, yet intimate portrait of lives in transit and the human consequences of the refugee crisis spanning the Mediterranean. It Will Be Chaos focus on two unforgettable refugee stories of human strength and resilience in search of a better and safer future. A documentary that goes beyond statistics to illustrate the impossible decisions people and communities face daily with the ongoing Mediterranean migrant crisis, underscoring the imperative—increasingly less considered with the rise of right-wing populism—for unified international efforts to mitigate this tragedy.

In conjunction with World Refugee Day on June 20, the documentary film directed by Lorena Luciano and Filippo Piscopo is going to debut Monday, JUNE 18 (8:00–9:35 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO. It as been premiered at SIFF, The 44th annual Seattle International Film Festival.https://nicbruna.tv/portfolio_page/it-will-be-chaos/
