Prime time Sky broadcasting on Saturday for ‘Magicarena’
Our "operamentary" Magicarena has been finally broadcasted for the Italian audience on Sky Arte HD, at prime time on Saturday February 4th, 2017. It is a great achievement for us, the lucky outcome of a troubled path. The feature has been re-scheduled on February 8th and it is available on demand on Sky platform during over one year.

After 2 years hitting the road at international film festivals – from the premiere at Cairo International film festival on November 2014 to the presentation at the Beijing International Film Festival on April 2016 – our “operamentary” Magicarena has been finally broadcasted for the Italian audience on Sky Arte HD, at prime time on Saturday February 4th, 2017. It is a great achievement for us, the lucky outcome of a troubled path. The feature has been re-scheduled on February 8th and it is available on demand on Sky platform (link) during over one year.

I especially thank our distributor Stefano Mutolo, his staff of Berta Film and the press agent Lionella Bianca Fiorillo of Story Finders. And of course, all the amazing main characters of the film: Marja, Marjolaine, Nadine, Filippo, Federico, Marco and Massimo.

Skilfully balanced between on-stage and off-stage, private life and public exhibition, and between sacred representation and profane entertainment, MAGICARENA reveals the Opera secrets, as you have never seen before.

Magicarena is an Italian co-production between Le Talee, Fondazione Arena di Verona and K+. The film has been supported by the Italian culture ministry MIBAC, by Verona Film Commission and Lazio Film Commission.
