Is it really possible to go back home?
Homeward depicts the story of nine people hailing from Morocco, Albania, and Nigeria getting back home after their hard migratory experiences. The introduction of strict migration rules in Italy, specifically the ominous Bossi-Fini law that criminalizes migrants, changed their destinies irreversibly.
People are torn between the impetus to seek a better future outside their homeland and their own rootlessness in their home countries. The Moroccan Khalid, Edmond in Tirana, Albania, Faith, a 25-year-old Nigerian woman: will they able to get home again?
