“Get back home has a price that I think you could hardly imagine from your comfortable home in Europe”

With the participation of

Edmond, Khalid, Rita, Faith, Becky, Rachid, Mohammed and Alina

What are the consequences of being expelled from Europe?

Is it really possible to go back home?

Homeward depicts the story of nine people hailing from Morocco, Albania, and Nigeria getting back home after their hard migratory experiences. The introduction of strict migration rules in Italy, specifically the ominous Bossi-Fini law that criminalizes migrants, changed their destinies irreversibly.

People are torn between the impetus to seek a better future outside their homeland and their own rootlessness in their home countries. The Moroccan  Khalid, Edmond in Tirana, Albania, Faith, a 25-year-old Nigerian woman: will they able to get home again?
